It’s pretty obvious that my musical tastes lean towards the heavier end of the scale. But as I’ve said many times, I’m just a fan of a good music. It doesn’t matter what the genre is. One band who is extremely consistent when it comes to producing quality music is I Mother Earth and this week they fired out to Canadian airwaves a new song titled “The Devil’s Engine”.
It’s been three years since IME’s last new song and let me tell you, the wait was well worth it. As with pretty much everything I’ve heard from the band, “The Devil’s Engine” sounded nothing like what I was expecting. Yet it easily exceeded all my expectations. It’s heavy, catchy, modern and boasts a huge ass shaking groove. Yeah, that’s right – ass shaking.
Highly recommended? Absolutely.
