Mission Statement

HeretoDestroy.com is a music-oriented blog, which was created in October 2007. The main purpose of the blog is to provide users with a podcast titled Measurements of Sound, which will be published randomly.

Measurements of Sound is not be a podcast in the traditional sense. There is no commentary and the focus will be purely on the music. The reason for this is to allow the listener to enjoy the audio being presented without distraction or interruption. Each podcast will consist of a single soundscape made up of a group of songs. The length of each podacst will vary.

The title Measurements of Sound is a reference to variables associated with the experience of listening to a group of songs such as time, volume, intensity, tone and even color.

In addition to the Measurements of Sound podcasts, there will be various music and design related content published to the blog.
