About Here to Destroy

Here to Destroy is an independent label and management hub based in Nova Scotia, founded by Ryan Grant. The label currently represents and supports the punk/stoner rock duo The Orchids. With a long-standing passion for championing independent music, Ryan has been involved in artist development, creative production, and digital innovation for over two decades.

In 1999, he co-founded Triple-Bypass.com, an influential online music magazine that streamed audio and video content long before it became mainstream. The site featured live concert footage, artist interviews, and performances by electronic and hip-hop DJs such as Buck 65 and Skratch Bastid, all broadcast live from its Halifax headquarters.

Ryan later launched HereToDestroy.com in 2007 as a music blog and mixtape-style podcast, evolving it into the label that now supports The Orchids’ releases and career growth. Ryan is focused on building connections, exploring sustainable partnerships, and continuing to support emerging East Coast artists through DIY ethics and creative independence.
